Finding the flaw

I think both sides are a little bit flawed. First of all, the NFL concussion study did not make it clear that not all concussions were used in the study. They should have mentioned every team that did not participate in the study fully. The New York Times flaw was about connecting the concussion study to the tobacco industry. I feel like that was a bit of a stretch and only deserved a small mention, instead of a part of the headline. I wonder if the Times could take out only that part.
